You're Invited
Were you one of the many activists who came to Illinois in 1982 to work for the ERA? Were you an Illini who spent countless hours working for passage?
On June 15 activists from the Illinois ERA Campaign will gather in Chicago. We will have a chance to meet old friends and make new ones, to reminisce about our work and to consider
the implications of that campaign.
Here are the details:
- When - SATURDAY, JUNE 15 FROM 10:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
- Where - UIC Richard J. Daley Library, 801 S. Morgan St., Chicago, IL 60607
- Hosted By - Mary Jean Collins and Chicago NOW.
On Friday evening there will be a dinner:
- FRIDAY, JUNE 14 FROM 6:00 PM TO 9:00 PM
- Pompei Restaurant, 1531 W Taylor St, Chicago, IL 60607
- Hosted by Chicago NOW and Veteran Feminists of America
Want to help - Chicago NOW has graciously set up a donation page to collect the contributions to cover
cost for the ERA Reunion including Friday Dinner and all day Saturday. We are recommending a $45 contribution but welcome whatever you
are comfortable giving. Any moneys over direct costs will be split between Chicago NOW and the Veteran Feminists of America who have been
instrumental in making this program a success.
New - The ERA Bio Book is here! You can find the agenda
for the Saturday program at our 'ERA Agenda' page.
Donation Page is here. Or you can mail a
