New World Community

There's a lot of talk these days about globalization. To read books like Kevin Kelly's Rules for the New Economy you would think that we have all reached Nirvana, Heaven or whatever you want to call it.

But the reality is more complex. And it requires more careful thinking than is generally found either in the pages of Wired or in the documents of so-called 'New Democrats' like those at the Democratic Leadership Council.
